Me and my husband Shems like to work very hard and have to juggle many things.
We have to juggle work, studies, wedding and visa and not to mention our hobbies, social media and things we would like to achieve.
We will explain to you the various ways we organise ourselves and stay on to of everything.
Evernote is a note taking app. We use this app both individually and also shared.
I organise my studies within it. I take notes from my studies and things I would like to revise later.
Shems uses it both to organise his work and also his work at home and hobbies. Things like blog posts, articles and books, he tends to write the plan for them in here.
There is the concept of notebooks, which will be a collection of notes and a way to organise your notes even further.

Like I have mentioned before. There is a also the ability to share between two or more people to collaborate. Shems and I share a notebook to plan things. Whether it is our wedding, our new year resolutions or future things we would like to accomplish.
Streak is an excellent application on the iPhone. It allows you to set yourself task and has a reminder feature to make sure you’re not behind on your streak.
The idea of it is, you build up a streak or a habit, and with time you are less likely to stop doing that thing. There are two reasons for this; when you build a habit it becomes of your daily routine so it will come to you naturally, but secondly, by having this streak, you are less likely to want to stop, else you’ll end up back at 0 day streak.
Example streaks we have are:
- Pray 5 times a day
- Take vitamins
- meditate for 5 minutes
Todoist let’s you keep on top of tasks. This differs from Streak as you are not trying to build up habits but just trying to keep up with your day to day tasks.
I have setup multiple types of tasks and stuff that I would like to do. Mostly to remind myself. For example, if I told someone that I will call them on a certain day, I will put it on my todoist and that will give me a reminder when that time comes.
